Do You Travel?
Yes! Travel costs are covered for weddings and engagement sessions within a 120km radius of Hamilton, ON. For anything beyond in Canada or worldwide an extra travel fee will be charged in addition to accommodations and the coverage fee.
Have You Shot at {Insert Wedding Venue Here}?
I’ve shot at a variety of different venues from golf courses to major hotels to banquet halls, to camps, to boutique venues, etc… The list can go on and on. I may or may not have shot at your specific venue, but as a pro photog, be assured that I’m prepared to shoot anywhere and anytime where it’s my first time at the location or my tenth.
Have You Shot a {Insert Religious Ceremony Here}?
I’ve been blessed and privileged enough to have shot many different ceremonies from a vast variety of backgrounds. Specifically I’ve documented non-denominational Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Ismaili Muslim, and Indigenous Shaman ceremonies. If your religion is not listed above, I would be more than happy to get to know the culture and traditions surrounding your wedding.
How Many Hours Will I Need for My Wedding?
As each wedding is different, and the priorities of each couple is different, it is hard to say for sure. Usually 8 hours is sufficient to cover a bit of getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and a wee bit of reception. This is where an in person consultation comes in handy so we can figure out together what is important to you in terms of coverage, and how much coverage you will need. Do Your Sessions Include Digital Files?
Yes, all of my sessions include high-resolution, non-watermarked digital files. They will be delivered online via your own personal, online gallery.
How Long Will It Take to Get My Images?
For weddings it will take approximately 6-8 weeks from the date of your wedding for your images to reach your inbox. For engagement sessions it will take 2-4 weeks from the date of your session for your images to get to you.
How Many Images Do I Get?
It’s hard to say the exact number of images that will result from each shoot. For weddings, you will receive approximately 600-900 images. For engagement sessions, you will receive approximately 100-150 images per session.
What’s the Difference Between Editing and Retouching?
Editing is making sure the image is technically perfect. That means making sure no one’s blinking, the image is straight, the colour and white balance is consistent with my style. Retouching is what they do at magazines, where they photoshop things out, slim things down, etc… All of my images will be edited. Retouching is available at an additional cost per image. But not to worry, I like to get things right, in the camera.
Can You Edit Like {Insert Another Photographer Here}
The short answer is no, and you wouldn’t want me to anyway. What you want to do is to hire a photographer whose style you LOVE so that at the end of the day you are 100% satisfied with your images.
Do I Have to Download My Images By a Certain Time?
For weddings, you have 365 days to download your entire gallery. For engagement sessions, you have 60 days to download your entire gallery.
